The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the daily maintenance of the resort’s bodily plant, device, and centers. From recurring inspections to emergency repairs, you may ensure the property runs successfully and safely at the same time as assisting the first rate visitor enjoy Hyatt is thought for.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Perform habitual upkeep and repair duties across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
  • Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance at some points of the property
  • Respond right away to visitor and operational service requests
  • Ensure all equipment and systems are functioning optimally and adequately
  • Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with vendors or external technicians as vital
  • Maintain correct logs and statistics of preservation sports
  • Assist with unique initiatives, renovations, or device installations
  • Follow OSHA protection regulations and Hyatt’s safety and cleanliness standards

✅ Required Qualifications

🎓 Education & Certification:

  • High college diploma or GED required
  • Technical or vocational schooling in preservation trades favored
  • Certification in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing is a plus
  • EPA certification may be required (primarily based on assets)

💡 Experience:

  • 1–three years of revel in in wellknown maintenance, facilities, or engineering
  • Hospitality or commercial building renovation revel in desired

🧠 Skills:

  • Strong understanding of building structures (electric, plumbing, mechanical)
  • Ability to examine blueprints, technical manuals, and system commands
  • Basic pc skills for preservation monitoring
  • Excellent hassle-fixing and troubleshooting abilities
  • Professionalism and robust communication abilities
