Job Description
As a Tax Intermediate Analyst, you’ll help the tax group ensure Citi meets its global tax reporting and compliance requirements. You’ll work across numerous enterprise lines, contributing to correct and well-timed filings, audits, and reporting.
Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns and assisting with documentation
- Assisting in monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting and compliance activities
- Managing statistics gathering and evaluation for tax audits and inquiries
- Supporting transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transactions
- Coordinating with outside advisors and internal teams on tax filings and regulatory necessities
- Identifying tax risks and suggesting manner improvements
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and international tax policies
- Supporting era initiatives related to tax tactics and gear
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s diploma in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or an associated field
- CPA, CA, or Master’s in Taxation preferred
- 2–5 years of tax experience in a company or Big Four surroundings
- Exposure to tax reporting, audit guide, and compliance
- Experience with monetary services or multinational agencies is a plus
- Knowledge of tax legal guidelines and guidelines (U.S. and/or international)
- Strong analytical, research, and trouble-fixing abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax software (e.g, OneSource, Oracle, SAP)
