Playwright Technical Lead

Wipro Software Test is hiring a playwright technical lead with 8–10 years of experience in automation. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain an automated testing structure using Playwright, collaborate with developers to identify automation opportunities, and ensure the high-quality delivery of applications. This condition is ideal for professionals with strong technical expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and a passion for automation in a tight environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automatic test script, developed and maintained using pPlaywrightdesign.
• Create and manage test structures, test scripts, and test data.
• Cooperate with developers and QA teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
• Review the code and apply coding standards.
• Enable Advanced Playrite features such as exports, file uploads, parallel execution, download handling, and tab management.
• Apply Test-Mechanized Development (TDD) and Behavior Development (BDD) practices.
• Ensure alignment with the SDLC and agile development practices.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on Test Automation Best Practices

Qualifications & Skills:

• 8–10 years of experience in software testing and automation (minimum 8 years in test automation).
• At least 4+ years strong with the playwright, hands-on experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Typescript.
• Solid understanding of TDD, BDD, and agile practices.
• Software development life cycle and strong knowledge of the testing methods.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
