1. PCB Layout Design

• Create physical PCB layouts from concept through fabrication.

• Support implementation and fabrication of PCB designs.

• Work with multiple technical teams across Amazon.
• Collaborate with engineers from different disciplines.
• Participate in technical design activities.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should have:

• 4+ years of experience working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with prototyping and implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with analog, digital, and high-speed circuit design.
• 4+ years of PCB layout experience using industry-standard PCB design suites.
• Experience with high-current-density designs.
• Experience managing multiple projects in parallel.

Preferred Qualifications

Amazon lists the following as preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element Analysis tools.
• Experience designing complex mechanical products and equipment at volume.
• 7+ years of analog or RF layout design experience.
• Experience with Aerospace Class 3 design.
• Experience serving as a technical lead for small teams of PCB layout engineers.
• Experience with CAM350 and BluePrint.
